Co-Teacher’s Sheliah Adcox and Tammy Byrd have an incredible passion for the children and wanting them to experience Jesus Christ in their lives. They have many years of experience working in the Children’s Ministry and engages with children through various programs and activities. We are so blessed to have them lead this area of Ministry.
The purpose of Stedman Youth Ministry is to provide a dedicated and nurturing space within the church for young people to grow in their faith, spirituality, and personal development. Stedman Youth Ministry serves as a bridge between childhood and adulthood, aiming to guide and support youth in church through their challenges and opportunities. Stedman Youth Ministry within the church offers a platform for young individuals to deepen their relationship with God, strengthening their beliefs, and engage in meaningful discussions about their faith. It promotes a sense of community and belonging among young members, fostering connections with peers with similar values and aspirations.
Activities for the Stedman Youth encompass various engaging options, including Bible studies, contemporary worship nights, prayer groups, retreats, and game nights. These activities offer opportunities for spiritual exploration, relaxation, and building relationships among young members. Discussion forums encourage open dialogue on faith and contemporary issues, while guest speakers inspire and motivate the youth. Worship workshops promote talent development, and mentorship programs guide their faith journey. Retreats, camps, and creative arts workshops combine fun with spiritual growth, and community outreach instills a sense of social responsibility. Testimony nights allow the Christian youth group to share their faith journeys, and inspiring and social events strengthen friendships and a sense of belonging. These diverse activities cater to the interests and needs of young members within the youth ministry.
